Hello Senoritas!  So, I was wondering if anyone had some good tips or product recommendations for controlling or at least hiding the little frizz when doing victory rolls and such.

Thanks!

a really good Pomade helps alot!!!!!! but everyones technique is different, I'm curious to see what the other Gals say.
I use a few different things to help with the curls. Everyone curls their hair different and the climate that everyone lives in is different as well. I think that it helps to do your hair with hair that hasn't been wasted in a day. also pin curl the curls when you pull them out of the rollers. Use pomade or a light gel in your hair then hair spray like crazy on the victory rolls, also the pinning is good so that they stay fresh for the photoshoot. I often times go to a shoot with my hair pinned and then pull the pins out right before the shoot. IT makes the hair look really nice and not crazy out of control.
And hide those bobby pins well! =)

Heres a few tips I've seen work for me.

1. Use shine gloss and work it in your hair (dry) before applying heat or rolling...Start at the ends and work your way to the mids.

2.If you put a pomade or puddy on your finger tips before rolling the victory roll or taking out a curl, it helps keeps the hair from frizzing.

3. Spray hairspray on your hands then pat your head...too much hairspray can actually pick up the frizz and make it stand out...the light touch of your hands with a bit of spray works wonder...

4. The easiest thing to do is touch the hair as LEAST as possible, get used to using your finger tips and very lightly...everytime you touch your hair your transferring oils from your hands to your hair...and when you are shooting, the camera picks up every little detail.....

Hope this helps :)

I have been using setting lotion called "Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion." is has ultimate hold for wet sets and wrap styles. The back of the bottle says that it gives superior control to create defined curls. Keeps hair looking glam and gorgeous all day long. It actually smells quite nice too. I put in on my hair when it's wet as I style it, it keeps my curls from looking frizztastic.

You can find this at Wallmart or Sally's in the ethnic section.

I also use pomade or "jam" when actually rolling the curl and then afterwards when its in position, I will use styling "spritz" (literally there's a million brands of the stuff, just called SPRITZ--also in the ethnic hair care section) and gently smooth it over the surface of the curl with the back of my rat tail comb, works like a charm, holds all day and no frizz.  The best part is that later when you take the rolls down, you have awesome sex kitten big waves lol.
Cool! Thanks everyone for the advice!  I'll give them a try most def.  I ordered Hawleywood's Pomade, has anyone used it and have feedback?
