Ok, is anyone else here a Twilight nerd like me???

every since one of my coworkers loaned me the first book I was addicted! I had bought and read all 4 books within 1 week and now the movie is coming out and I am super excited!!! It;s actually really sad b/c the book is meant for young adults ie harry potter but I am so stuck! anybody else out there brave enough to admit what a total dweeb they are??? lol

i'm a total dweeb!! my little sister introduced me to the first book when it came out and we would always buy the next 3 books the day it came out and do nothing but read and only stop to eat and go to the restroom. lol. awesome books.

thats exactly how I was, luckily when I found it the first 3 were already out but I had to wait a few months for the 4th and I just about had a panic attack! lmao

I remember reading Twilight my senior year of high school (I graduated in '05). No one was reading it, but I fell in love with it regardless. Now I'm jealous of everyone who is just now finding out about it, because I had to wait atleast a year in between books and now they're able to go and buy the whole series and read them back to back for the first time. But yes only 14 more days til' the movie! (And I'm going to the midnight showing!)

I'm a little late on this, I just started reading it. I love Vampires so I thought I'd give it a try. I like what I've read thus far. Oh and I'm going to watch the movie... to be honest though I pictured all the characters way better looking. lol.

yeah, I was a little disappointed in the choice of actors, Edward I guess is pretty good, but Rosalie who is supposed to be "the most beautiful girl" kinda looks like bad bleach blond trailer park to me ...and Alice I had imagines much smaller and prettier, a Rachel Leigh Cook kinda thing and Emmit waaaaay bigger with longer hair! they are all just rather odd looking to me, Bella is about right though. but I am with Delyssia, I am afraid the move is going to ruin it for me :o(

I read all 4 books, but Twilight is my fave...The other 3 books kinda annoyed me, I had a love/hate relationship with them because they were a little too drawn out.

The constant fawning over Bella made me hate the character...And I wanted to strangle Meyer if she used the words "chagrin" or "glowered" as a descriptive one more time!

All that said, I will be going to see the movie with a Twilight group...hopefully at the Alamo Drafthouse (theater with food and beer)... so I can drink more if it's bad!

When I saw Bella she looked like she 13 not 16. Maybe it's just me.

I have heard that there was going to be one from Edward's point of view and as soon as I read all 4 books I'm going to read that one because it sounds interesting.

As for Bella looking young, she's supposed to be 16 so I think she's supposed to look young. I'm not fond of the pick for Rosalie though.

Has anyone read the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun on Stephanie Meyer's website? It's Twilight but from Edward's point of view. I think it's even better than Twilight. Maybe that's just because I found Bella to get a little irritating at times.

Heyyy I had a kid lend me the first book and I'm reading it now. I never have time to read, but so far I am enjoying it! It is definitely intended for a higher level than Harry Potter though, but it is an adolescent book.
