New Wonder Woman costume

NBC has given the green light on the new Wonder Woman pilot and the costume has been released, so, what does everyone think?I think it's sexy, high fantasy, and totally unrealistic. I love it.

I still prefer the old costume ;) Call me sentimental, but even little kids who never saw Linda Carter on TV or read the comic, still know Diana immediately when they see her.  Nothing is better than making a kid's day.  I think if I showed up to do a hospital visit in the new TV costume they would ask, "Who are you?" LOL. Old costume=instant recognition.

Fetish costume made in China... strangely enough for a costume that represents the good o'l  Red, White and Blue. Personally, they tried too hard to modernize it and make it look like all the other Latex super hero costumes. What's different and exciting about that? Hmm and the cartoon version, may as well give the gal a bicycle or a yoga mat. Does nothing for me there either. Makes me want to redesign the thing myself but really Linda Carter's version will always rule. In the meantime I'll continue selling out on my take on it along with my invention of Wonder Wonder Woman's twin (Nemisis) Check em' out here:

This new costume actually covers up more skin than the original did. Being made out of latex though, I'd say it's on the same level of sexed up as the original. Overall I'd say it's appropriate for the remake. Not something I'll ever wear though : P.

The new costume looks as if it is almost a parody of itself. Like it would belong in a "Superhero" comedy. It is almost like it is out of a "Wonder Woman" pornographic video.

The original costume, through dated, is much better. An updated version would be better than something with full length pants.

 

I think that Micheline Pitt (as photographed by Rick Miller) is a better Wonder Woman than the woman they have chosen.

I'm confused... how does the original costume not look like a slutty leg avenue outfit? I barely covers anything! LOL!

 

That action shot is not a very flattering picture. I just hope that she really is 6' tall, muscular and a bad arse.

 

I like the shiny outfit... but I'm going to wager a guess that it would be too reflective under the lights of a set. Either way, I'm looking forward to this! I hope it doesn't SUCK cause if it does, it won't matter what she's wearing. The geeks will riot!

I like the top A LOT, but I'm not digging the pants/tights. I don't know, man., if I was flying/running around kicking ass, I'd get sweaty and would hate be wearing full length pants/vinyl tights. I agree the boots are great, though. I wish they were red, but they look awesome in blue.

Looks like we won't get to see this costume after all. NBC has rejected the series. Check out this article for info and the FINISHED costume! It's not as bad as we thought, no pants!!
