We're looking for some fabulous faces to represent PinupLifestyle.com in the next issue of Retro Lovely Magazine! As you may have noticed from previous issues, PL has one whole page of the RL Corkboard spread to promote our community of talented members! The corkboard has proven to be super fun as it includes any sort of photos, not just those high end studio shoots. In fact, we love including candids!

 

The problem is that it's really really hard to select from all the entries in our inbox for this, sooo we're going to ask that people submit their chosen image right here on PL from now on!

 

Thank you for your support! It's awesome to have the opportunity to return it!

 

This will be ongoing, from issue to issue! We'll also send an email reminder before we choose for each new issue, so you won't miss out and will have a chance to change your tagged photo if you wish or for new members to add a tagged image.

OK, HOW DO I SUBMIT!?

 

1.) +ADD PHOTOS to your PL Portfolio,  tag ONE favorite with "PLCORKBOARD". We suggest fresh photos, but if you don't have any you may update one of the currently uploaded ones. (please don't tag multiple photos, choose ONE or we'll just skip you)

 

2.) Post here to let us know you've submitted!  =)

 

RULES:

-  This is open to anyone, models, dancers, artists, H&M artists, painters, designers, photographers, basket weavers...

- If you have already been featured on the corkboard, you are not eligible to be featured again.

- We choose approximately 15 per issue.

How exciting! when do we get to see who made it?

There is still only one entry per person, right? Does that mean that all the multiple entries have been narrowed down to one image per person?

Also, once you're in one issue, you have to withdraw from the contest, correct? (Assuming multiple images are still tagged.)

If we choose your image, we untag it, thus excluding you from future corkboard features. We also have a database of all the featured members to ensure no repeats.

That is good to know.

 

However, the rules have been repeated as contestests only being allowed one image, and that if more than one is tagged, that person will be skipped over (as in, none of their images will be chosen). Is that being enforced?

We've notified everyone asking them to reduce their images to one tagged one, so yea, it may be enforced =)

"May" be? That does not sound promising. =(

I hope it is, because I find it very unfair that some played by the rules, while others "may" be allowed 10 entries.

Bluntly put, they aren't "allowed" 10 entries anymore per the rules. With the number of entries and a random number generator selecting who we're including issue, after issue, after issue, noone will get multiple entries into the magazine, thus, they have no advantage if they didn't go in and update. However we hope for the sake of following the rules that they did. This isn't a contest for only the next issue, it's ongoing for all future issues.
