I'm from Michigan and I heard about this story a few days ago. It makes me so sick to my stomach.
I hate how people have preconceived notions about pitbulls. I've known many pitbulls in my life and to be honest they were the nicest dogs that I've come across. Every single one of them was a giant baby, never mean or aggressive.

In fact, my cousin's pitbull, Blue, just got killed last weekend by a hunter that thought Blue was a "coyote." Now I'm sorry, but I've never seen a pitbull that looks like a coyote in my entire life, and I thought the first thing about hunting was to know for sure what you are shooting before you put a bullet in it.
I think that the hunter just saw a pitbull running in a field and either got scared or just shot it because of its breed. And now my cousin is heartbroken because he lost his best friend in the world. ;[

Its unfortunate, but there are actually a lot of cases of pitbull abuse in Michigan and to be honest, it digusts me and truly breaks my heart.

This world is filled with very bad people but from reading all the comments left behind from people that probably never even met Laurie shows me and everyone else that there are people that care and are willing to stand up to injustice. My deepest apologies to Laurie and I hope that the people that are behind this crime will someday soon pay for there misdeeds!
