Conan O'Brien does rockabilly! And he rocked it out!

So last night Conan's new show premiered on TBS, with Jack White as the musical act. I was excited, Jack White is the man. But how surprised were we ALL when we saw Conan introducing Jack White - standing on stage himself, guitar in hand.


Oh yeah, he rocked it out!

After the show was over I had to do some research, did Conan REALLY record an album with Jack White?? Come on, he's a comedian. Sometimes it's hard to know when they're serious. I saw a lot of people of Twitter asking the same thing.. and alas, it's REAL.

While Conan was on a comedy tour this summer, he really did stop into Nashville and record a whole album at Jack White's Third Man Records. Simply titled "Conan O'Brien - Live at Third Man", it's available in vinyl only at Amazon and in the official Third Man Records store. DO WANT.

lol, she's a total fangirl, I think her brain was just in overload, not uncomfortable XD She does have a good knack for keeping her fangirl-ness in check. I know her through the X-Files community (of complete and utter fanatics), and she and her crew threw a charity event and got Gillian Anderson (Scully) to attend, and somehow managed to usher Gillian around the building and stage without giggling or squee-ing or fainting (something I would have been unable to do!). So I'm not entirely surprised that, even as big of a fan as she is, she was able to just smile and clap when Conan came right up to her and hugged her =D

And OMG@ Katie Vega- when i was watching that she looked SO uncomfortable! At first she seems stoked, but he did it several more times during his intro, and making awkward advances towards her hehe.

I saw it and was totally but very pleasantly surprised! Awesomeness.
