I absolutely LOVE the idea of pinup girls in bondage. There is something about it that goes perfectly hand in hand. Pinup girls in their classic guise were all about innocent sexuality and a sort of aloof exhibitionism. Bondage takes it a step further, adds some delicious kink but without compromising the innocence. It isn't blatant in your face sexuality it is as if the subject is trapped and forced to do naughty things. We all know it is consensual but it sort of takes away the responsibility for the kink, preserves a subconscious innocence and just looks DAMN SEXY !! i agree I love the Betty Page bondage shots, kitschy but hot and with out taking it to a pretentious level that so many contemporary folks tend to delve in.

I just recently took my first photo shoot, and according to my photographer i was the first "model" she took pictures of in Bondage. My husband and i are very into it in the bedroom, but i took the pictures for the art of it, Betty Page is my idol i have a coffee table book of her art. She was gorgeous with or without it but she absolutely a pioneer in the beauty of bondage!

I have had a large number of pin-up models specifically booking Betty Page or Dita bondage styled shoots...the pin-up and 'damsel in distress' genres do seem closely linked. As with other pin-up imagery, an image that appears to tell a story will always hold interest for longer than a straight 'posed' image.
