Places to Eat!

Looking for a h*** in the wall greasy spoon dive bar/diner thats cool as hell and has REALLY good food! Anyone know of any???? LMK!

Also any other suggestions of places that have great decor other than places like the hard rock etc. For eating or photoshoots.....

It isn't a diner or bar, but cab on over to Retro Bakery for the best cupcakes in town. And bring me back a 'coffee and donuts' cupcake if you go!

there is this place called "Sheri's Diner" look it up.... its not exactly a h*** in the wall.... or even close to it... but i hear its awesome! they have a website. open for breakfast lunch and dinner. great reviews on food. its 50's themed. My boyfriend and i are going there for breakfast with some friends! we cant wait!

i just looked at the pictures of it online..... killer place.... hot rods out front .... PERFECT place for a photo shoot (if any photographers are interested ;) wink wink!) Also they are having "WORLD FAMOUS PHOTOGRAPHER ROBIN PRESTON WILL BE DOING A 1950'S RECREATION PHOTO SHOOT AT SHARI'S DINER ON APRIL 2, 2010 DURING THE MID AFTERNOON, DRESS FOR THE OCCASSION!"....sounds pretty cool!

I don't know why the web site tells people to just show up dressed for the occasion, Robin and Natalie had a casting call and picked their 13 people already, weird.

There is a park on Decatur and Warm Springs that would make a cute shoot. It's got a little Wild West Facade, with a place to tie up your horses, and faux saloon. Worth the visit.

The fashion show is @ 2pm so do we know what mid afternoon is? We should write to them and ask them to push it forward to like 1230 or later at like 330/4pm. I mean they have their own agenda I'm sure, but more people will be able to attend if they dont conflit....

They have the people they need already, and since they only need 13, a billion people showing up might be a problem :)

Very True, I was thinking more along the lines of those wanting a bite to eat and wanting to watch the shoot go on. But it is what it is. Maybe I'll see you there. But if not I'll see you at the Meetup. I guess I just have to face the fact that I wont be able to attend EVERYTHING thats going on that weekend. Dammit! :)
