In the last 10 years...

With 2010 lurking around the corner, I started thinking about everything I've done since Y2K (LOL) hit. I'm guessing most of us have a few good stories to tell, and a lot of exciting things we did.



In the last 10 years I:

-Moved across the country to party on a Navy base

-Was forced to move home because I almost killed someone (it's a long story)

-Turned 21 (so i drank.. A LOT)

-Became a raver (so there were A LOT of drugs...*PLUR*)

-Sobered up

-Got married

-Went to Paris and Rome

-Had a baby

-Became a .com millionaire

-Lost it all due to the .com crash

-Took a bankrupt business and turned it in to success

-Found out my baby was special needs

-Quit said business

-Got a divorce

-Lost my home

-Had a string of loser boy friends, and then found a great one (that TC, he's a keeper)

-Taught special needs children

-Rebuilt my life a piece at a time

-Went to Disneyland, A LOT!!

-Found this amazing website and met some of the most wonderful friends I've ever had.

Dang, it's gonna take a lot to top that.... I can't wait to get started!

So, what have you done in the last 10 years?

I have nothing to top that, Roxy! But in the last ten years I have blossomed (hopefully!) from a little girl into the starts of a nice, young woman. I've finished school and am off to university, so I am looking forward very much to the next ten years and what they hold! Who knows what that will be! A nice job, a house of my own, a nice man on my arm, maybe even kids! Life is exciting stuff, isn't it?

- Graduated high school
- Graduated Beauty school
- Bought a home
- Got out of an abusive shitty relationship
- Sold that house
- Bought another house
- Became CAD certified
- Worked at a 5 star lighting design firm and had many celebrity clients
- Stood up for myself and my beliefs and quit that design firm
- Fell in love with my best friend - Matthew
- Bought a brand new car
- Entered a pinup contest and won
- Modeled for some AMAZING companies and photographers
- Found PL and met some of my very best friends here
- Married my best friend, and couldn't be happier. :D

Can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring!

-Lost all my friends and started a new life by moving to CA
-Started singing
-Started theater
-Started high school :-)
-Performed.. everywhere
-Fell in love
-Graduated high school
-Developed a crush on Roxy Tart
-Started training for opera
-Dropped out of college
-Discovered Buddhism
-Got my first job/apartment
-Rented my first house
-First performance as an equity actor
-Managed my first production
-Gave it all up to start training as a welder
-Realized that I'm far better suited to corporate america
-Got engaged
-Realized through talking to my friends and getting closer to an amazing woman that I was making a HUGE mistake
-Got together with Roxy Tart
-Started going to Disneyland (a lot!)
-She showed me a website with a community of cool folk where I've made some amazing friends

past 10 years?
- graduated high school
- switched jobs 15-20 times
- moved to victoria with my Best friend, and an Aussie Boy..
- had a blast!
- started smoking and getting into Bars under age..
- started working at a live music bar..
- worked for a few Radio stations..
- turned into a pinup girl
- my sister had a baby, in a HORRiBLE relationship... moved to my home town and got a house with my sis, and my niece..
- got a crush on the "rockabilly door guy" at the local punk rock pub!
- was friends with that rockabilly greaser/door guy.. then BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND
- GOT A JOB AT THE PUNK ROCK PUB...
- we hooked up
- started modeling..
- i QUiT SMOKiNG!!!
- got my wiener dog!
- started taking my own images of other local pinup girls!
- realized that i was good at doing hair/photography, so i opened my own pinup studio in my home town
- went to university for HAIRDRESSING..

- bought a house, and moved my studio into my home..
- got a job at a highend/well known salon in my home town..
- we currently building a rental suite in my home.
- DEC.31/2009: my boyfriend asked me to marry him !!!...


i wonder what the next 10 years will bring me...
looking back 10 years i was a different person, just a 15 year old... i'm now 25, and i LOVE who i've become! i wonder how i will feel at 35?
