I am actually entered into the burlesque competition at VLV this year!! Voting starts in January and hopefully getting ready this early will work out!

Oh crap. I have a confession to make. This is my 5th Viva and I have never watched the burlesque competition.

Not by choice, of course, but something always seems to happen. Every year we say "We are gonna see the burlesque this year come high or hell water!!" and it has never happened. Jinx, maybe? I am not gonna say that this year.

Last year were staying at the Rio and got stuck in a taxi cab line a mile long, and missed it. Probably could have walked there and been there in half the time, but that would have never worked with the heels I had on. Other times it has been coinciding bands we couldn't miss, then once we came back to our room after the car show and passed out until midnight!!! That night was crazy...woke up at midnight, was ready by 2 a.m., and came out for the night......we ended up being in one of the record hops until like 9 in the morning....

HAHA! The taxi situation kept me from making a lot of things there this year, as well!

I was VERY lucky to be with some people that got me in early this year - but it was INSANE! VERY difficult to get into the show if you didn't get your tickets early! Hopefully you can see it this year, it was amazing!
