My interest in fashion photography and all things retro led me to pursue modeling for projects in art school. I've always been inspired by my grandmothers. One was a sock hopping soda jerk as a teenager, and one was a 1950's roller derby girl. My favorite things to do as a kid were go to the vintage clothing store downtown, and go to swap meets with my dad to look for vintage political buttons and other goodies.

After college, though my connections in the Kansas City rockabilly scene, I began posing for local pinup photographers, and rediscovered my love of modeling.

My favorite thing to do is pose with cars, on a set, or with props because I really like interacting with my surroundings and creating a story through the images.

I worked as an assistant to a professional makeup artist for several years, so I am very adept at doing my own makeup, and I can also style my own hair several ways.

Pinup has given me another excuse to indulge in my love for lingerie and fashion as well — an upcoming photo shoot is always an excuse to find something new!

In addition, I teach about retro fashion for Pinup 101 class with Vixen Pinup photographer, Nikki Moreno, along with several other models and glamour aficionados.

Thanks to Vixen Pinup Photography I appeared in issues #1 and #2 of Retro Lovely! I'm so honored to share the pages with so many beautiful, successful women!
