Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined): I'm a videographer by day. I recently did some work for a burlesque group and am just discovering how broad and active the community is. I've always loved the retro vibe. Actually, the first award I won was for a corporate training film I did as film noir.

I agree with you about 2008! Aside from a couple of lone events, it was terrible for me!!!!! I thought 2007 was bad due to some life altering events but 2008 took the cake. I think most people are feeling good about 2009. Although they do say the economy is still supposed to get worse. I'm $150,000 upside down on my house!!! The number one thing that I am looking forward to is my boyfriend's return at some point. and who knows what else...

Ah yes...Summertime in the OC! To be quite honest, it's mildly entertaining the first few weeks and then I don't even dare go into town come July {thank god I live on the other side of the 50 bridge in West Ocean City}!

Hey! I've been so busy with work that I rarely get a chance to send comments to my friends, who I miss terribly! So here is a blanket comment update. I did a photoshoot last week, and I'm waiting for the edits so I can post them here on PL. I can't wait! I love them! This is a crazy month - lots of shows to attend and people to photograph, do you ever come to the Palace of Wonders for their burlesque shows? Maybe we could meet up beforehand on one of those nights. There's a few places nearby that we could grab a bite to eat and have a conversation. :)

Thank you so much for the uplifting comment you left on my blog. You made me smile. Hey! Let me ask you when you write, what process do you use? Do you outline first or just let it flow? I'm trying to outline the book I'm writing. It's a new process for me. Usually, I have scraps of papers and character development squished in a folder that I pick through and the stories get built in sections completely out of order.

Oh wow! That was incredibly insightful and extremely helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to write down all of that. I really appreciate it. The idea with the timeline is excellent! I do alot of stream of consciousness writing but what usually stumps me is when I stop every time I get a new idea. The whole "not stopping" practice is something I def need to adopt. I have so much going on in my mind all the time. Different ideas for just about everything. I was beginning to think I was ADD there for awhile. Then I realized I'm just a teeny, tiny, itty, bitty bit eccentric. :) My poor husband...
