A lot of my pinup education has been inspired from the burlesque scene here in NYC.

Certainly Bettie Page, Vargas and Olivia's Art come to mind when I think of pinup art.

I am by no means an expert, although I am certainly looking to expand my portfolio with this style of photographic artistry.

Growing up in L.A. & watching a lot of musicals as a child, I would have to say that Hollywood Glamour is a major influence in my work.

I remember walking through the MGM Grand Casino in Vegas and just poring over the glamorous pictures of starlets that lined the walls.

Currently I am reading the biography of Ava Gardner, who one of my burlesque dance teachers was obsessed with...I guess she thought she was the ultimate sex symbol.

I am a huge Marilyn Monroe fan myself.

I have recently become quite obsessed with corsets, stockings, garters and all things boudoir & glamour.

Dita Von Teese is also a huge idol of mine. I have had the pleasure of seeing her perform twice in New York and was just totally blown away.

My pictures on here are a sort of hodgepodge of poses and costumes, which to me are sort of representative of my journey along in the pinup style.

My own website is a way to express all my different styles and personalities through photography.

I hope on this site to meet fellow photographers who I can shoot with and learn more about the pinup look.

I wanted to post this in a forum, but didn't know where it would fit.



Ok yeah so I admit it, my port. is certainly not on the level of so many others here and I suck, lol.



But I am going to work real hard to do better and make more pinup images...It is my new drive and ambition.
