Vintage Garters for Girdles?? Where to Buy??

Hey Dolls!! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with advice on garters for girdles.

I have found a few different links on the net for some.

I think there is one brand in specific starting with a D, that is probably the standard.

I mean the attachable ones by the way...Maybe they are called Link Garters??

Was wondering what opinions may be on the best for a vintage look and feel...

I think you're looking for just the garters, not the girdle as well? WhatKatieDid.com sells garters in an assortment of colors. From their main page, go to Corsets > Suspenders. And if you find them anywhere else, let me know! I'm looking for a set in deep pink, and don't want to ship one measley set of garters all the way from the UK if I can find them closer to home. :)

Wink, couldn't you just get some white ones and dye them deep pink?

Man-made fibers don't always take dye well. I'd rather leave it to the professionals, but I'm getting close to desperate enough to give it a shot. :)

Okay, I found out that the trick to dying nylon is to use an acid dye. I may try it! It's easy to find white garter straps at my local fabric store.
