I am so friggin' happy! I have been frustrated with Ebay lately, because people bid vintage dresses so much higher than I can afford. I scored this baby today for only $41.00!!! It's a vintage 1950's. I bought it for my friend's wedding coming up in a few weeks. I can't wait to wear it with a nice black belt, black shoes and a cute purse.

Though I am very happy with this, I think I am gonna stick to Etsy from now on for my vintage clothing...um... buying. Ebay is great but like I said people just have way too much more money than me to be bidding up these dresses to $150 amounts and whatnot. I find so much great s***, put it on my watch list and it gets down to the last few hours of the auction.......then all of a sudden 2 bids turn into 22 and it's an exuberant amount.

I can't wait to get this in the mail. I'll take a pic of me in it when I go to the wedding :) and post it on PL of course

I will! My girlfriend let me borrow a nice light pink crinoline to go underneath. I still need to find some simple black pumps and a thin belt like is shown in the pic (she wasn't selling the belt with the dress)

Check your local thrift stores for skinny belts. Mine usually has bunches!
