Halloween Costumes! What will you be?

Its that time a year folks, the wonderful event that rolls around yearly giving all you beautiful ladies a chance to get completely dolled up and in some cases dress very very naughty. It also gives everyone a chance to be creative with costumes, from sewing your own, to improvising with existing garments and products. Lets see what everyone will be this year =) If you havent chosen one yet, post some costumes that interest you and perhaps you'll help someone else with their decision!

WELLLLL,

I am going to go as Snow White...except it's the sexy version. I am wearing the costume with white,opaque thigh high's that stay up on their own. They have little baby blue sating bows on the front and then I slip into my six inch high stilletto ankle strapped pumps and apply the deadliest part-the red lips. And I'll be good!

I'm getting it from Spirit Halloween store....here's the actual costume, and the stockings in the picture are somewhat like what I'm wearing.... ;-)

I was thinking about being a Sailor Pin Up, but I live in the University District, so the likelihood of my just being deemed another "Slutty Sailor" a la Sorority Girls is just too much for me to handle. So I'm thinking about doing a costume inspired by a fairly common tattoo: Mexican Sugar skull woman. Nice thing about that is that I'll also get to wear a long skirt shawls etc. so I'll actually get to keep warm.

aw....man! i was gonna wear the Playboy cigarette girl costume for halloween and zombify it by putting rubber bloody body parts in the cigarette case but since im going bar-hopping this year, itd be horribly awkward! haha so ill probably do that next year. this year im going as a cherry pie pinup which is almost as lovely!

I know this thread is kinda dying.. but I didnt want to start a new one with the same theme.. I just wanted to show everyone the progress on my costume.."Creaturette from the black lagoon".. Last night i worked for 6 hours straight on my corset.. with AMAZING results.. I am so excited for this costume to come together.. I took only 2 pictures.. one of the first layer and the second of the 'scales' sewn on.. I would love some feedback.. but keep in mind, it isn't finished.. I just wanted to post progress picks.. i still have to do the edges, the lacing, the eyelets, the details.. etc... so you're looking at the base of my creature.

I have decided to be Marie Antoinette! I have the wig (which I personally decorated with vintage 1940's rhinestone clip-on earrings and shiny broaches, a triple strand pearl necklace, a vintage looking decked-out-in-pearls silver hair comb, sparkly flower and butterfly hair pins, and vintage feathers from an antique store.) my shoes are four and a half inch stillettos that're baby blue fabric that are Marie Antoinette-inspired shoes (they have lace trimming and a beautiful rhinestone buckle!!). I've got a white pair of satin wrist length gloves and some vintage 1940's baby blue double strand pearls that have little gold, pearl separating accents. I've also got this white vintage lace fan that works perfect! And underneath this all, I'm wearing a white lacey corset and crinoline petticoat! I take this holiday very serious, as you all can well tell!!

It's such a beautiful baby blue sexy dress.It's quite ornate, complete with gold trimming and lace, pearl bows, baby blue ruffles, and a lovely brocade print in both white and blue (depending on what layer of the skirt--pictures to come soon.) I cannot wait to wear my beautiful self-decorated head-dress/wig to the costume contest that they're having at this one club I'm going to!!

Ahh! This is my favorite holiday! And, I'm super-excited about this year because I have made my costume. I originally decided to be a saloon girl (my bf was supposed to be Doc Holliday), but now that he's changed his mind, I'm changing my idea up a little bit! So, I'm going to be a saloon girl Gypsy Rose Lee style! I think that'll be lots more fun for the night!
I hope everyone posts pictures after their Halloween parties! I love costumes!
