Annie Lennox: Voice and Fashion

I first fell in love with Annie Lennox's voice and look waaay back when the video for Sweet Dreams came out (yes, I'm old enough to remember) but was, luckily, aware even then that her haircut and color would NOT look good on me.

This video is of Annie Lennox and David Bowie performing at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness held at Wembley Stadium (in London) in April of 1992. David Bowie is, of course, a Duke (heh-heh) of fashion, and Ms. Lennox's amazing vocal range is surpassed only by the fabulousness of her Dioresque dress. Okay, her voice is actually more fabulous than this dress, but it's a close contest. (I'm doing my best to ignore her Blade Runner-inspired eye makeup, which could look cool but I find most distracting here).
