My "professional" opinion about this video:

- This guy is a nut job
- Strathmore is beautiful paper, but he's right that nobody should ever print cards on 60# stock
- Die cutting can be cool, but this guy's card is not
- Foil stamping is almost always tacky
- Unusually-sized cards definitely have visual impact, but if they don't fit in a Rolodex or wallet, they'll be tossed. Instead, try using the standard European size (approx 2.125x3.25 from your local printer or available from Moo.com)

Not mentioned in the video:
- That VistaPrint logo on the back of your free cards suggests that you're cheap. It tells me to think twice about doing business with you. The front of your card had better be awesome enough to sway me. It probably isn't.
- The classiest card you could ever get would be engraved, on Cranes or similar. You can't afford it.
- To see some ACTUALLY cool cards, visit http://creativebits.org/cool_business_card_designs (and keep in mind that most of them probably cost even more than engraving)
Yes on the rolodex note, yes on the vistaprint logo and hell yes on engraved Cranes...And you're right..I can't afford it :-(

WashingtonEngraving.com offers engraved calling cards with up to three lines of type on white or ecru 100% cotton, with envelopes, for $79/100. FineStationery.com has a large selection of engraved business cards and calling cards for as "low" as $173/100. (As usual, prices get worse with smaller quantities, and better with larger.)
