Have you ever met someone that completely changed your life? Someone who lifted you up just as you were beginning to fall? Is there someone in your life who set a fire under your ass and pointed you in the right direction; the direction you had been trying to find forever but couldn't quite get the co-ordinates right? Is there someone who helped you realize your true self; the self that had always been there but was being repressed and unsupported until that someone came along and pulled it out of the depths of insecurity? Could be family, friends, strangers.... could be more than one. Who are they and how did they change your life in a positive way?

My husband. Made me realize that I needed to be myself, do for myself and discover ultimate happiness....that no one could ever make me as happy as I could.

Dayna Delux. No kidding. I met her in '07 and she gave me hope that there are still real, unpretentious people in this world...even though they have achieved ultimate success. She also ha given me alot of wonderful words of wisdom regarding inner beauty that have forever changed my drive and confidence.

Sounds like an amazing husband. =)

Quite refreshing. Far too many pretentious rock stars out there who think their shizz don't stink b/c they have a name for themselves and everyone else is just jealous.
I agree, whole heartedly. I believe we were meant to learn something through every situation and every person we encounter. It's how and what we choose to learn that decides the outcome.

There have been so many amazing people in my life I don't know where to start...

My husband, he is the only man who totally understands me and laughs at all my vulgar jokes.

The Bombshells, they are the greatest group of "sisters" a person could have.

Kim Lenz, for believing in me...of all the musicians in the world to chose me to work for them, I am still in awe that she chose me.

An old woman named Dottie that I met once at an AA meeting when I was newly sober 18 years ago. She looked at me and said "You don't ever have to drink again if you don't want to." Words I will never forget and changed my life forever.

I have been so blessed as to have had many people come into my life who helped shape and mold it. But I would like to share the story of my Grandma, known to the world as Gram. She and I did not become close until I was 15, after my grandfather passed away I decided that I should call her more so she wouldn't feel lonely. Little did I know that would start the friendship that changed everything.
Though her I learned that love takes work, that honesty is a true gift of love, and how to listen. She always had an open ear and an open door. We could not have been more different, but she loved me inside and out. Through her support I learned to believe in myself and take control. I learned that the world will keep on spinning without me and it was my job to make things happen for me.

She passed two years ago. I think of her often and have her picture up in my room to remind me that a smile, an open ear, and an open heart is the first step to making a dream a goal and a goal your life.

My husband, Garrett. I swear without him, I'd be on a destructive path to no where. After my first marriage, I totally gave up on men. I was single for three years before I met Garrett. He has such a good soul. I'm very lucky to have found him.
