What do y'all think about signing with an agency as opposed to freelance work in the Bay Area? It seems to me that most of the work I've gotten is just by being seen at car shows. Is other people's experience similar to mine, or is an agency particularly beneficial?

That's a very good question. Does anyone know of any agencies that specialize in pinup?
Highly doubt it, no true money in it doll. I wouldn't think the demand is there that could sustain the costs of running an agency and paying out talent.

I'm in the UK right now and have an agent (so I'm not sure what the situation is like in your area), but thankfully I'm allowed to get my own gigs as well since they haven't done anything for me yet!
I think you'd be better off on your own.
There are agencies in New York that deal specifically with "alternative models" but I believe thats still more fashion/fetish than pin up.
