Stewart did make Cramer look like a tool, but I have to give credit to Jim for not buckling under the pressure. His "Oh no, not clip 218" was pretty funny.

Now, can someone explain why a comedian is the only person who is willing to skewer these guys?

Well, if you look at history it has usually been the "comedians" who have had the cojones to tell the truth as it is completly unvarnished. In the Dark ages it was the court jester who got away with being brutally honest to the king without getting his head chopped off automatically. It's too bad that's the only one way the truth gets out there sometimes but it's better then nothing.
