I know! We decided to leave on Wednesday, and stay on Fremont St. that night, then wake up the next day, check out, have some breakfast/brunch, check in at the Rio, then relax and shop/have some drinks/check in for wrist bands......

I am so over the whole leaving at 5 a.m. on Thursday thing, it sucks....getting there and being so effing tired, feeling the need to rush around.....This way we can get that "Ahhh....were in Vegas, we can relax now" feeling on Wednesday night instead of well into Thurs night.

This year my theme is relax. No feeling rushed or worried. I feel that the past 3 years, although fun of course, have been like that. Then again we have flown, or drove with friends. This year we will have OUR CAR and be on OUR own time to do things however and whenever the f*** we want.

Last year was the first year my husband and I got to go without the kids. When we went in years prior, we had to take the kids and stay at my Dad's and couldn't even go down to the Gold Coast until night, and then the kids would get us up at 9 am to do stuff. 2007, when I heard that 2008 would not be during Easter, we booked our room at the Gold Coast on thurs of 2007 for 2008 and made plans to go without the kids.

This year I will be there alone :-( but I will be working part of the time. The first couple days will be totally my own, I am just so excited to go, dance and see my friends from all over the world!
