My name is Patricia Cass and I really have a strong love for rockabilly pinup style. I would really love to get into modeling but I'm having a difficult time. The only profession pic I have is a tattoo magaizine. Does anyone have advice on started your portfolio? I truly appreciate any and all help!

I'd say the best things for you to do is post a discussion here on PL saying "Model looking to do TFP" so that you and a photographer can trade for your time. The photog gets a model and you get some pics. There is a thread about Model Releases and you should check out Philip Frazer's answer:

PL is an awesome place to network so I would definitely post a discussion here. There's also Model Mayhem, Retro Kitten, and Wicked Talent that I can think of at the top of my head. You may have to start out doing your own styling (hair/make-up/wardrobe) until you get more established unless you have friends who do that who want to add to their ports too. Try that out and have fun with it!
