Okay, I need to get the best shape for my eyebrows. They are very light and have always been on the long side. I want the best possible brows with a pinup style. But there are a few questions that will help me;
-To wax or pluck?
-Dye them darker?
-How to make the perfect arch for fine/light brows?
-Framing my face?

I would love any suggestions/comments or pictures for help

I love eye brows, that may sound funny, but they can really make or break a look. Here's a few tips I picked up over the years.

Go to a pro. The ladies that are trained to wax are your best first step. If you really wanna pamper yourself, go to a spa. They will do a consultation and really find out what you want. After that it's all upkeep.

Using a powder or stick to darken your brows is safer then dying them, and gives you control over how they look. Also, eye brows fall out kinda quick, so sometimes with dying them you can end up uneven after a wile. All it takes is a bit of practice to get it perfect.

I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks Roxy-It does help. I have a big forehead and no bangs, so my fine/light brows would really make more of a statement if they were done right. I will wax and use a brow stick or powder.

What are some favorite brow products?

I don't trust anyone w/ my brows. I do them myself for not only budget reasons but also because i'm tired of having to explain that I WANT unnaturally arched forties style eyebrows! First i trim them by brushing up w/ a cleaned mascara spoolie and using small scissors to clip the hairs. Then I draw around them w/ a white khol pencil until I have the right shape, tweeze around the lines and fill in w/ Sephora eyebrow powder. Finally, I'm happy. :)
OMG Ashley that is a great step by step idea!!! I am gonna try that. I as well do not really want anyone touching my eyebrows because they are going to probably wax them all off!! I do the same thing, I brush them up with a mascara brush, trim them, but I will start drawing around them with the white and filling in with Sephora powder.

Which color do you like?
Which color eyebrow powder do you like. Right now I use Benefit, but I am always up for change.

I use the one that is a set of an outline powder in brown, a med brown filler powder and a wax. I think it's their dark blonde brunette set. I have red hair so it was best for me.

i honestly love threading because i can't wax (it's quicker and just like plucking) and the girl i got to follows your natural brows. threading is usually available in indian salons and they prefer to do a really natural, thicker brow. it's also great for sensitive skin, since there's no chance of burning or bumps or any other problem you may have.

but wherever you go, if you find a picture of what you want, bring it... it's just like a hair cut!

i also use MAC brow set, it's a tinted brown gel, with a slanted brush. it's like powder, but the gel also keeps them in place!
I am fortunate my natural brow is arched.

I pluck, purely because I can't afford to go get them waxed weekly, and I don't have the time. I am naturally blond, with dyed black hair. I use a potted eyeliner, ("hip" by loreal) applied with a small short angled brush to darken and elongate my brows. I find that using the liner with brush will coat the hairs better than a pencil or powder.
