"Totally Stylin' Tattooed Barbie"

This is crazy...the tattooed Barbie even comes with a tattoo gun so you can put the stickers anywhere! It's starting controversy with parents whom I think need to lighten the hell up. They're not even the fake tattoos they are just damn stickers. What young girl doesn't put stickers on her when she's little?! If it was "Totally Stylin' Sticker Barbie" nobody would give a s***. I think some parents need to understand that over protecting your child from the realities of life will only breed rebellious behavior down the road. Just because your kid wants a Barbie with tattoo stickers doesn't mean she's going to be a f*** up when she gets older, not if you are a good role model. Man, this really got me fired up for some reason.

I dunno... as the owner of tattoos myself, I obviously don't have a problem with them. And I don't think that every person with a tattoo is a hooligan of some sort. Heck, what kid didn't have lick-n-stick tattoos from their box of Cracker Jack?
But... a doll complete with a pink and purple "gun" to put "tattoos" on your FACE? This is perhaps not the most responsible toy and ad for adults to have come up with.

this, cracks me up. seriously. there are so many more important things to worry about than your kids putting fake tattoos on themselves. :) Personally, I let my kids put fake tattoos all over them right now! It's better than the alternative, they try to be like mommy and daddy, and use a friggin SHARPIE! heehee. My oldest walked around with full sleeves of scribble for 3 days!! (that stuff doesn't come off man!)

Since when are parents such freaks? When they come out with White Trash Barbie, and Ghetto Blaster Barbie, then I'll be worried.

As for my toy offenses? I'm offended more by this:

"every little girls dream" complete with washer and dryer!
yes parents! let's teach our little girls to wash clothes and care for baby! I'm a HOUSEWIFE and I'm offended by that. lol

LOL if stickers are tattoos then my lil boy is a f****** AR TIST. He specializes in smiley faces. You make a great point Seanna I'm a fan when tastefully done, and of course taste is subjective. I will walk by Seannas arms gladly every day this month with the PL Calendar hanging in the main hall of the loft. Everyone that sees it stops to say Damn....so i'm guessing you can has good taste =)

What's wrong with teaching kids how great tattoos are? I mean...gee, if I had known all about tattooing at that age I'd probably have full sleeves by now! I might even be EMPLOYED as a tattoo artist!! Too late for that now...see? You have to get the kids hooked early just look at McDonald's and all those other advertisers. lol that is offensive! Personally I'd find Gangsta Spic Barbie offensive too. Unless a Hispanic person was involved then it's okay...no, no I take that back. I don't wanna see kids playing with a doll that says "eh-say" at the end of every sentence and wears one of those blue shirts with only the button at the top done. Very wrong indeed.

It's ridiculous the things people get offended by. If parents spent more time with their kids teaching them morals and good behavior instead of always getting offended by every tiny little thing then the world would be full of well mannered caring people instead of people who criticize and hate each other.

I wanna Tattoo Barbie! I think its crazy cool and perfect!! when i was young i used to draw on myself and put stickers on my face! my parents didnt like me drawing on myself because they said the ink could pioson me but they were all for stickers! today i have 0 tattoos too so i really dont think parents should freak every kit plays with stickers
