Fav board game

do you have one, do you enjoy playing them. i have no one to play with. my boy hates board games, expessualy with just two people. but i loooove clue! i want to have a clue game where everyone comes dressed up as their player, i know these things allready go on, but i want to have one. i wouldn't even mind being colonel mustard, but i would want to be scarlet!

Oooh, good thread! As a kid I liked Uncle Wiggily and Which Witch and the MAD Magazine game. Now... it's harder to get folks together to play a board game. I have one called Spices of the World which some of my friends seem to dig, but I think I need to make it a cocktail party and then spring the game on folks! Uh, the Wii is broken! Yeah that's it!

oooh that sounds like fun, spices of the world! i never played uncle wiggly or which witch, but they sound fun too!

Which Witch was soooo cool! It had a 3D board, with four rooms and a chimney in the center. You had to get your game piece through the rooms without getting hit by the ball that you sometimes had to drop in the chimney, and it would come shooting out into one of the rooms at random. Kind of like mini-golf, but the board game version! I'm not describing it well at all. I don't remember how to win... I think you maybe had to successfully reach the top of the stairs? Which seems kind of lame, now.

that sounds awesome! i hate i didnt know about it, because i was such a witchy little kid. my fav show was bewitched and i would have died to be samantha, and i loved a book i had that was all witch stories!

I'm with Delyssia's boy on this one - board games: we hateses them *hisssssss*
And that goes double for card games *HISSSSSSSS*
Yeah, I'm boatloads of fun. I blame my parents and my childhood.

But I do enjoy a good round or 5 of "Munchkin Bites!" (goth geek!) and the "Order of the Stick" game is fun too. Too bad it's usually only the two of us and these games are a bit more fun with 3 or more players :(

Imaginif is a really fun group game, and we always play Taboo when we get together for game night. Taboo might be my favorite group game.
