Where to buy props for a pin up shooting?

A lot of pin up photography has some really amazing props for the setting.
I'm wondering where you buy your props and also if there is props you can make yourself.

I was helping with a photo shoot last weekend and was able to procure some cool props from vintage shops I actually shop in on a regular basis. They know me as a client, and were willing to do a lone with some clothes and furniture.

get to know your local vintage shops... like kim said.. once they know you and trust you.. they will sometimes let you borrow stuff...

i shot an add for a shop here...and now the owner lets me borrow stuff all the time.. she even made me a really cute hat for my V-day shoot.
