TIKI EVENTS!!!

So, for those of you who collect tiki mugs:

The world premier and signing of 'Tiki Mugs'.
The sigining will be at the world famous La Luz de Jesus Gallery located at 4633 Hollywood in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 7 from 6pm - 9pm, tel [phone].

Many of the artists featured in the book will be on hand so be sure to get your book signed by as many as possible!

That is the Brunch Americana. It happens every Sunday in LA. Hillbilly DJ Jeff hosts bands and you can go eat brunch, have some cocktails and dance every Sunday afternoon at the Redwood.

yeah...I meant PCC, but my fingers typed rose bowl...
(I've worked 54 hours this week, & its only thursday. I think I've fried my brain... 12 more hours starting @ 5am friday.....I think I need a cocktail NOW.)

My plan is 9am @ the swap meet then head downtown & get my drink on!

Break out your best FEZ, Racoon or Water Buffalo Lodge Hat, or whatever Fraternal Attire you please...All Fraternities and Loyal Orders are welcome
at the LODGE.
This will be a super fun night of Booze, Toonz and Tiki Stuff !
Grand Mystic Poobah Marty Lush will perform a "Swearing In" Ceremony for all attendees and The Tikiyaki Orchestra will perform 2 sets of Exotica,
including many new songs from their upcoming CD "Swingin' Sounds for the Jungle Jetset" (due out in May)

There will be a bar serving Mai Tais and more, as well as a Snack Bar with pub food available .

***Bringing your own mug to drink out of is highly encouraged.***, otherwise you risk drinking out of plastic all night...you've been warned.

They have a few different beers on tap including Newcastle, as well as Corona, and a few others in bottles for the beer drinkers.

They will be making Trader Vics recipe Mai Tais as the drink special that night. Priced right -at only $6.

Had a great time at the Tikiyaki show @ the lodge last night....scored a few cool tiki mugs at the little swap meet. Hope you had a great Theresa, sorry we didn't make it up to your table, we bailed pretty early.
