SUGGESTION.... regarding the YOU HAVE MISSED:
i see there is a new feature on my profile.... example my profile now says"You left a comment for 'Kim Lenz' on Sunday
thanks for the add... you rock!!!"

this updates what comments we have made,
does everyone see this?
or what you have commented is personal?

my suggestion.. i dont like that feature, too much on the page...
i did/do like the feature where is says who's page you have commented on, or what disscussion you are a part of, but does the feature HAVE to say what the comment was and such?

Hmm...this is new, so I'm not too sure. Did you try changing your "privacy settings" under settings?

I'm not a huge fan of it; too much info cluttering up the page. BUT: you can edit your personal list to display "0" entries and drag it to the side bar so that it becomes less conspicuous. Still have the overall site "What You've Missed" on the right side though, so there'll never be complete privacy of action.

I like the site "WYM" for new photos, discussions and blog posts, but I do think the "who's fans of whom now" notification is a bit unnecessary.

Most importantly for me though, is that Daddy C and Desiree are working on the site and trying out new things to make our user experience all the more complete. I've been places where the site owner-developers have lost interest and it's a sad, sad thing when it all disintegrates and the community and new friends disappear into cyberspace.

Maybe we're getting big enough that it's time for a forum section regarding site updates/feedback/etc. ?

As Poppy said, the very best thing to do is to hit the PRIVACY link next to "What You've Missed!" and select what you want and dont want displayed there:

Which of your actions should display on Latest Activity?

• New content I add
New comments I add
• New fans I add
• When I update my profile
• My events and my RSVPs

Latest Activity will never display messages you send, pages or members you view, invitations you decline, people you de-friend or decline, or things you delete.

Keep in mind this IS a networking site and the more you disable from being visible the more unvisited your profile becomes. This also affects what shows on the MAIN What You've Missed! area that runs sitewide which does not show that level of detail. More than anything it is to give users the ability to carry on back and forth conversations. This feature will also cut down on people spamming walls with junk messages.

Poppy, regarding the forum section for PL Announcements, you're standin in it doll ;) Some things will just go unannounced because the last thing we need is input from everyone to decide which direction to update the site because we'd end up going nowhere. The goal is to add new features and give people the power to either moderate them or disable them.

I hear ya - it's a fiiiiine line between "getting input" and "all hell breaks loose"!
As I said, more than anything, I appreciate the time and work you put into making this site as functional as it is. It already means so much to me.

I think it´s a good feature but it´s also good you can disable. I was a little bit overwhelmed when I first noticed it. :-)

I hope you all know you can also DRAG that entire section right on your page anywhere you want to put it ;) ANY section on your page is draggable. yup click, hold and drag it go try it!

Thanks for the great feedback on the new Latest Activity feature. We really appreciate it!

We are adding back in links to replies and comments as well as replacing the display of actual profile comments in the feed with links to the profile comments themselves shortly.
