MAC or PC

I have been a PC user my whole life. I do know the MAC structure but im no Pro. I know my PC from top to bottom. I can pretty much find anything and everything in my computer. I am a bit apprehensive about converting, but I recently went on my friends MAC and used his CS3 and wow its quick easy and OMG its QUICK! I think i transferring over. I feel like a cheater but omg it feels so good! LOL! Ok so heres the discussion for this ummmmm discussion. lol. What do you like PC or MAC? And why do you like it? Would you convert? If not why not?

I have close tons of Apple products in my house. Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, MacSE, 20th Anniversary Mac, 2 iPhones etc...Ask me again!?

I'm PC all the way. I like being able to get into the guts of my system and fix things when I need to. To me MACs are like those people that are so smart they're stupid... It's so easy it's impossible. I run my PCs hard, doing everything from web/graphic design to editing HD video for broadcast to 3D animation, and they have never let me down. The only time it ever benefits me to have a MAC is when I need to make a cross-platform DVD-ROM.

Plus - it all depends on what you want to do. I know that diferent tasks in Photoshop perform differently on MAC and PC. Some are faster on the Mac and some are faster on a PC.

For well over a decade I've been Operations Manager for Mac Consultant Firms, I've always been a strong advocate of picking the best tool for the job, Computers are tools. Photo Editing, Photoshopping, etc, proven faster and more stable on a mac on many sites all over the net. Quality Control on Apple hardware is the reason we dont need to dig around in our systems and why they have gorgeous internals containing brushed aluminum and plexiglass. I have a PC, a super f****** fast nasty f*** your ass up PC, I built it for gaming. Start it up, the game auto launches. Best tool for the job, macs suck for gaming due to lack of available games.

Damn dude, you and these issues, you like seeing the fan boys fight, lol. New macs are not macs at all. They use Pentiums and thus are really just PCs. Old school G4 are nice though. I am a PC guy though and through, but all I would use a mac for is my music and my photos.

Totally PC. Whenever I try to fumble with a MAC, I get all confused and scared. LOL. I grew up on a PC, so that's what I like. I'm sure the next generation will be more MAC savvy.

Very very true and nicely stated. Going into the Vain Section of me what to you think about the look tho. I was just in a buddy of mine studio. and His whole office is White MAC'd out and crazy lamps. It looked dope. LOL! I use to love my PC but ive so vulnarable to viruses.

I never got into the computer gaming. i wanted to but didnt have time and now with my 4month old daughter i barely have time to scratch my ass the right way.

Lol you sound like me but did you knwo that if you take a usb mouse and attach it to a MAC you can do what you do on a PC

Macs are sexy down to the boxes they come in bro, I literally kept 2 boxes just to show how sexy the experience is from the second you take the shrinkwrap off...I'm prob a great person to ask for opinions since I also respect PC's for what they do best. I have done graphic design, non linear video editing, music editing, and I also have a Mac for Traktor w/ a midi controller for spinning in the clubs. I'll have to respond in more detail about what i love when im not at work.

Macs = sexy in the looks dept.

Well your right but you need to leave your comfort zone. Thats what im trying to prevent. I never wanna be that parent which isnt proficient with tech stuff. And lets their kids do what they want because of there lack of trying.
