Who are you looking forward to see play at Viva?

I can't wait to see Kim Lenz and the Jaguars and Jack Rabbit Slim rockin' on Sunday night. If you all are thinking of skipping Sunday, DON'T. Tom hasn't listed the schedule and a lot of people don't know that some of the best bands playing are playing on Sunday night.

Kim has a new Record coming out in April and Viva is her official Record Release!

I also look forward to my favorite Swedes, the Go Getters! Last time they played Viva, they played for almost 3 HOURS!!!!

We are so fired up for Kim Lenz. I gotta be honest, we just discovered her! SO funny too, cause my husband being the king of knowing every rockabilly act out there......didn't know of her. We were listening to an internet radio station called "Pandora" on a rockabilly channel, she came on and we were like WOW. Then we found out she's playing Viva and are really looking forward to the show.

Kim was really big in rockabilly music around 97-2000, touring all the time, put out 2 CDs, had a great backing band, but she went into semi-retirement when she became a mother. She's played a few select shows in the last 3 years. My club, the Bombshells were fortunate enough to book her in 2007, and she reunited her backing band after 7 years to play our party in San Francisco.

If you watched the HBO series True Blood, her song, "Dang Good Stuff" was in the first episode. It was the scene where Suki is sunbathing.

When I mention Kim Lenz to people I get alot of "who?" . I remember back when I first got into Rockabilly she was the biggest thing in female neo Rockabilly music.

Im not going, I really wanted to apply to compete in the burlesque competition, but I can only afford one vegas trip this year and thats to EXOTIC WORLD! Oh and if your watching the burlesque competition, please scream extra loud for ANNA FUR LAXIS.
