Things a Make Up Kit must have....

So I am going to dabble a little in makeup. I have always believed its good to leave the makeup to a makeup artist and hair to a hair stylist. It just seems that alot of jobs Im its hard to get a makeup artist and its easier to get hired if you do both. That being said I need to get a kit together. I will be doing Pin Up and wedding make up. What are things your must have in your kit?

eyelash glue, oil absorbing papers, q-tips, some sort of clothing protector.. especially if your touching up a bride in her gown.. maybe a tube of makeup remover.. just in case.. otherwise just all of your makeup yeah??

Urban Decay eyelid primer. I plan on being buried with it!
I have oily eyelids and my eyes are hooded (you can't see *any* of my eyelid when my eyes are open, not even the lash line), so my intricately applied eye makeup lasts, oh, 2 minutes before it smudges into a brown mess in my crease. With the UD primer I still have *perfect* eyes 8 hours later. Even when I forget and rub my eyes, the damage is minimal.

Well I love doing my makeup and as for your starter kit if your going to be doing it for both special occassions and pin-ups you should have a variety of colors. First things first your brushes, you should invest in a set of good quality make-up brushes (two sets would be good 1 for you and another you use for clients). Mac has great ones but they are very pricy, Costal cents have good quality ones and so does Urban Decay. CVS has some inexpensive ones that work well but I wouldn't recomend them for professional use.
Since you'll be working on different typs of skin and girls of different ethnicities you should have a good range of foundations/cover up/Primer. Also not everyone likes just the natural look so it would be best to get a large palette of blushes and eyeshadows. I recomend Coastal Scents 78 Palette its inexpensive and has a great variety of eye shadows and blushes! Well hope this helps just ask if you need any more help hun!
