Hi everyone,

I've done a lot of research and learning on my own. But I still can't find a clear answer on this one, so I thought I would ask!

What is the preferred term? Pinup or Pin-Up and why use one over the other?

I figured someone out there would know.

Thanks,

Clay

I think Pin-Up is more grammatically correct, but I personally prefer Pinup.
hum, not sure but i think if your refering to a tare out / poster / picture its pin-up like a thing , and if your refering to a model / person/ lifestyle/style its pinup. or at least thats how i use it, haaaaa. so i use pin-up like an adjictive and pinup like a noun, haaa.
I've often wondered too but I definitely prefer the way pin-up looks ;-)

Haha... I always thought it was a question of laziness... For me it is anyway!

I think "pin-up" is correct. But, I write/type it so often that sometimes I just don't feel like putting in the extra effort to hit that "-" key...

Yep. I'm just that lazy. ;)
I agree with you Samantha. I just like the way it looks too! Thanks for your insights everyone. I just wanted to see what other people thought!

I like, DL! Smart thinking. I think my opinion is similar, I just prefer leaving out the hyphen.
