Greetings everyone. Some really amazing talent here. Lady VonSchollon, your work is so inspiring.

Anywho, I have been dabbling in art for many years. Last summer I was apprenticing for a tattoo shop which renewed my love for it. Most of my work is inspired by traditional tattoo art and vintage pin-ups. Also enjoy working with mixed media and would love to do a few art shows this year. My problem lies in the fact that I've never really 'gotten my work out there' and not quite sure how to.

Moving along, here's a few examples. I have a lot more but lack in scanner, and it's not easy to get decent photos with a digi-cam. Soon I will fix this. All of these drawings were done with Prismacolor watercolor pencils and ink on paper.

NIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Looking through your photos, you have a real talent with highlights and shadows... and HAIR! You make realistic hair that doesn't look overworked - quite the skill :)

Man, I had such a thing for eyes for several years - drew them everywhere. I still have all my eye jewellery :))

The painted skull is fantastic! Have you seen these: Mourning Skull, Bride Skull, Cleopatra Skull?
Back when I was doing the student artist thing, we made castings of our own faces to use as mask bases. I collected them up at the end, took them home and turned them into painted, sequinned, shelled, feathered etc. wall hangings. Creepy like WOAH ;D
