Valentine's Day Plans?

Whats everyone doing for the most romantic day of the year?

I'll start...

I have to work until 4pm at the radio station and then I plan on getting ready to go out with one of my girlfriends. We are going to the Baltimore Museum of Art for some partner yoga and "twilight tours that explore the theme of love in art" while we sip champagne and make Valentine's cards. Then we will go out to dinner.

I'm looking for the perfect outfit... something red I'm sure :)

If I cant get Friday the 13th off all day, then I will work half a day...then Im heading to Vegas for the weekend woth a male companion. Valentine's Day itself will be a spa day, dinner and a show as for the rest of the time, well..... :)

No plans. Maybe hit a bar with some single friends. What do the single ladies do on Valentines Day? Go out or stay home and feel lonely?

I am SSOOOO excited for Valentine's Day -- and I never EVER say that. Last year, I told Jesse not to even think about celebrating it. But, this year Wanda Jackson will be playing at the Southgate House, so Jesse and I are going to go!!

I haven't celebrated V-Day officially since I was in elementary school, but this year I decided why not since I have my wonderful man to celebrate with me. I decided that I'm going to cook him dinner since he always cooks for me and then make dessert together. Simple yet satisfying.

flying to florida for the weekend.. i work for the airlines.. so its free.. otherwise.. we wouldnt be doing much.. dinner maybe? Valentines day isnt really our thing.. but i will dress up and look hot!

Working a cabaret show in London :D will be fun. although we have get in and tech checks at 4:30 pm and our slot isn't til 1:30 am. that's a long ol' wait!

You don't need a "special"! This is my first Valentines day as a single lady (was with someone for 7 years!) so I'm just going out with my girlfriend. Just a good excuse to go out and look cute :)

And that's exactly why I tell Jesse I don't want to celebrate it. It really is NOT a special day at all. It's a commercialized holiday (same as Sweetest Day) so that card companies, jewelry stores and chocolate factories can make tons of extra money.

Bah.

I've always said you should be able to show that love and affection any day.. every day.. Why just on Valentines? Give me roses for no reason! C'mon!! :P
