I'm a big fan of the 50's-60's cars, so I just thought I'd ask what everyone's favorite classic car is!
My favorite without a doubt is the 1957 Chevy Bel Air!

I actually own a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer (not super popular) but I think I love the 50 Willys more. Not sure though. My car is a beast.
sorry hun, i liked it, but i like the red one even better!

That red one is so hot, but on the grey one, the red strip under the window is out of place =\ kills the flow for me.
I love most of the early 50's cars but if I had to be pinned down to picking one it would have to be a 1953 Pontiac Catalina.

i used to drive a 68 Chevy II Nova, so I'm partial...

but I have to say I loves me a 57 Nomad!
I've ridden in that car :-D

Here's my 50 Chevy and I. It's a driver. I've had it for about 12 years.

Cadillac Hearse 1959!!!!
My favorite classic car was the one I grew up in: The 1964 Chey Malibu 2 door.

Chevy Malibu 2-door

This is what it looked like, but with the stock wheel covers. It had the V-8 283. My mother drove it throughout my childhood until she couldn't see well enough to drive, and it sat for a few years until my (now ex) husband fixed it up and I drove it. Such a great car; even I could change parts and fix things on it; not like the car that replaced it when it finally came down to new engine/transmission or new car choice. I don't regret the 1973 MBZ 450 SEL, except when it came down to repairs. Water pump on the Malibu was under $50 and we changed it out in under an hour. Water pump for Mercedes was upwards of $400 including labour - not something we could do ourselves.

I loved the first car I bought with my own money too - a 66 Mustang that had so many problems I never got to really love it. I still love old/unusual cars, which is prompting me to post a new discussion regarding my latest ride.
