Stolen Painting....Looking for anyone who may have info.

[Mummy's Little Monster]

This messages goes out to anyone living in or around the So Cal area who attended the Coast Air Brush Show. A friend of mine and fantastic artist, Mrs. Lucky Hellcat had the custom painting I made for her stolen from her booth during the event. Although I don't live anywhere near there, I'm hoping maybe somone was there and might possibly know something about it. I'm basically hoping that whoever has done this still has a heart beating in their chest and would consider returning it to her. The painting is very special to her and to me as well, as it was made especially for her and her alone. It may just be a cool piece of art to everyone else but to us its an artists bond and can't be replaced. This is the painting in question.

No kidding! I couldn't believe it when she told me! I think stealing art is just about one of the most douche bag moves a person could ever make. I wish I could put a hex on it so whoever has it will be violently ill for the rest of their days until they return it!

first off sweet work doll, your very good at what you do. second that really is a shitty thing to do, im an artist as well and i know how you feel. in a sic twisted way its flattering that someone would go to such lenghs to get a hold of your work, but come on it was for a dear friend! shady man shady

That's the first thing my boyfriend said, that its kind of flattering. But beyond that its just a really lame thing to do. I feel like my prices are really affordable to all walks of life. If somone wanted something by me that bad, all they had to do was contact me and get something that could be just a special to them as that piece is to her!

Thanks...so far you're the only person I've heard from that was at the event. Hopefully some more people were there and may have seen something. I know this is pretty much a dead end quest. But I'm hoping maybe the right person will hear about it and be able to get it back to her.

That does suck. Although I must admit I kinda wish someone would feel compelled to steal one of my paintings..I guess I'm not that good. Your work is incredible. Hope you get it back. Stealing anything from anyone is a shitty thing to do...unless it's a big corporate store and they have it coming. Anyway good luck getting it back.

I dunno haha I've never been big on stealing anything, even from THE MAN. I had a lot of friends who stole stuff when I was younger I just never understood the thrill in it.

Well its not looking very promising at this point. It could have been anyone from anywhere and most likely that's the end of it. I can only hope that it weighs on their conscious enough to want to return it.
