who is going to Viva Las Vegas?

I was just wondering if any of you guys are going out to Las Vegas in April....if so we should get a group of us together and have some cocktails and party down Vegas style! Anybody up for it?

I think we are going to go but it will be tough since we just got married in Vegas in August and blew all of our money. (I'm still paying for like only like $2,000 left to pay off haha)
We need advice on what is worth going to and what is worth skipping.
Also if you can get into the car show, tiki party, and vendors, do you really need to buy the $90 tickets?

You can't get into any of those now without a wristband. The last few years, only SOME of the vendors were accessable without a wristband. The best vendors were located near the ballrooms. The Tiki Pool Party requires a wristband and the last few years, since 2005 or 2006 when a car got stolen, the Car Show has been very secure and only open for certain hours and only to those with wristbands.

There are some great bands playing, as well as all the other activities going on, it would be a waste to be there without a wristband. You also have to consider the amount of entertainment you are getting (4 days of live music, burlesque, jive lessons, Charles Pheonix slide show) $90 is a BARGAIN!

I guess they are letting people without wristbands into the car show, but I know the best vendors are usually wristband only, except during the day and this is what the website says about the tiki pool party:

"The VLV12 Tiki Pool Party will be in the fabulous Orleans pool. VLV 11 had a line going around the block so at VLV 12, only those with wristbands may enter the pool party. More details will follow. "

Thanks for your help, we have a good rate for our hotel it's just the damn plane tickets. And work has been hell for me and my hubby so I'm scared to purchase tickets when we are both ready to quit our jobs haha :)
