Hello! My name is Amanda or Mandi!

I am new to this site. So far it's wonderful! I have been able to join in on a few discussions that really hit close to home and some that are just fun.

About me and what I hope to find here. I am 29. I am a stay at home mom and wife. I have 2 amazing little boys and I enjoy every minute of it (even the chaotic ones). I currently live just outside of Phoenix, AZ. I love everything about this lifestyle! I have been in love with the 40s and 50s for as long as I can remember. I adore the fashion, music and vehicles. I love the way homemade dinners were every night and natural beauty was what women used. I have not yet tried modeling or doing photo shoots, although I have always wanted to. I finally submitted my first volunteer pinup application the other day, received a call back and I am very anxious to see where it goes. It's to do photo shoots for items to raise money for our AD and veterans. Which is something very dear to me. So I am really, really hoping I can get this!

I run a few FB pages for fun and support. I create jewelry to keep me busy. It's a hobby for me, but I sell it as well. I have smaller, but growing pages for homemaking and one about the rockabilly lifestyle, where I help spread the word about events, carshows, pinups, and much, much more! Somehow with all of that and sports, I manage to be the homemaker.

Anyway, if there is anything you'd like to know about me, please feel free to add me or message me. I'm a pretty outgoing person and love meeting people. I would definitely love to make some friends who are into the same things as me, especially some that live near me.

Well Miss Mandi looks like you and I are in the same boat. I'm also new to PL and pin up all together. This is just all too amazing just like you I cant wait to meet new gems. im not around your area unfortunatly but it would still be great to make new connections! =)

Hi Miss Mandi,

Have you heard back yet from the volunteer pinup application?  Sounds like a perfect fit for you.  I know the veterans and active active duty will greatly love anything you send them.  I just got accepted into a local one here in the Hampton Roads area which I am very happy about as I am retiring from the military.  So it is my way of giving back as I am leaving.  I just am lost on how to find a great photographer and great settings.  Hopefully this is the place to be.  I know my local Bettie's they are great and will help me too.  It sounds like you are in the same boat as me hopefully we can learn from one another.

Hi Miss Mandi!

Welcome! I'm new too and trying to explore and learn the site. I'm a former Army wife and have also recently started volunteering with a PinUp group benefiting the military. I used to live on the West side of Phoenix and am a flight attendant by day based in Florida, so if you're ever interested in doing any collaborations just give me a heads up! Not sure if you know about the 50's club in Phoenix, I never got a chance to go, but I always thought it was a nifty place and wished that there were other locations.
