Pinup Names

Hello! I'd like a stage name for my pinup modeling...
I was wondering how some of you got yours and how i may find one that flows and suits me well. My name is Maria :)

I knew I wanted to use Roxie as a stage name ever since I saw the play Chicago when I was like...6 or 7. And I was going to be part of a burlesque troop that were all named after deserts. So Roxy Tart was born. I like that it brings to mind the murderess Roxie Hart from Chicago but has a sweet twist to it.

Did you have a nickname while growing up? My real name is Joleen but everyone used ot call me Jo because it was a lil easier to remember or think of something vintage that is your all time favorite.

Well, with names for burlesque, names for pin up and names for belly dance... I stuck with my name that those normal people call me: "Nina" (short for Christina, tho I don't use it).
Then, Nightshade just came along after much deliberation. As I've been called "the poison you can't put down", I think it works!
(For belly dance I'm Nina al Tawhil- a direct arabic translation of my real name by some friends)
I say stick with Maria and add something fun to the end. And with a name like Crystal you've already got a "diamonds are a girls best friend" type name...

You should go with Eleanor Rigby from the classic beatles Song! Anyway, I got my nickname by simply being a squadron secretary for my husbands unit and they liked a casual atmosphere so they called me Niki, which is my nickname to my real name Nicole, but then added Ms. to it so that it had some authority to it, since I was the Commanders secretary! Even after i got a new job everyone on base knew me as Ms. Niki so i just kept it when I started Modeling!

my model name means the world to me,Lee came from my late god father fernando lee,my real name is brandy i had an idea for me to keep my real name but drop the y and add the ee.My late god father meant the world to me and i wanted a way to carry his last name some how.once i started modeling,i said to myself i need a name that separate me from my real life and modeling life,i've came up with brandee lee cause i didn't want to be a cherry or bettie.lol.those names are cute but they are overused.hahahaha.maria u can use ur real name but add something u love to it ;)

My name has history too :) My friends give me the name Ghoulina what cames from Nekromantix's song Ghoulina. And the main reason in my teeth. :D Yes I have a bit interesting one like a vampire have.
I added the 'von Royal' part when I became pinup model and created Royal Pin-ups. You may see 'Royal' means the contact with Royal Pin-ups. And I think 'von' attaches them in a good way. :)
