my first pinup shoot!

Hi there! New to the site and very excited about it :) I have been doing hair for six years and love to do retro styles. I've always been fascinated with the pinup look but never imagined I would be confidant enough to do modeling! I entered a pinup contest at a local car show (im from alaska!) and it was so much fun! I am definitely looking forward to do more work but am at a total loss as to find it where I live. We dont have a whole lot goin on here in ak - haha. Any ideas??

The contest I entered ends monday may 12th! It would be really great if any of you could take a look at my picture and tell me what you think? Honestly the look is all me, the clothes and hair all that. But getting my photo taken, posing, even SMILING was so awkward! Heres a link to the contest, hell - maybe I could even get your vote!

Hi! Unfortunately, I am too late to view your photo, but I was wondering how you liked doing the pinup contest. I am getting ready to do my first contest and I am very nervous. In addition to posting a pic, did you have to do anything at the car show? I have entered a contest for a retro motorcycle show and I have to be judged in person at the show after submitting a photo on Facebook. I was wondering if you have any advice for a first-timer like me.

Well I found myself day dreaming about a grassy field with the sunshining in my face haha. They just had me walk around a pick out a car I wanted to take pictures with. Of course I picked one I have always drooled over :) And btw I won!! I was up against 12 other girls, and I took 26% of the votes :) I had blast and im already looking forward to another shoot but I am a bit limited up here in Alaska.. Any ideas about that? Its not like I want to make a career out of it or anything.. just for funsies
