Ahhh, we've been asked so many times to launch a proper magazine, at one point we did explore the option, but neither of us are publishers, or layout geeks. We had dreams of a layout like the old school BOP magazine, just full of images, text almost non existent.

 

If it was to be done, it had to be DONE RIGHT. We decided to stick to what we do best on the web and leave the print world to those that would really do a pinup magazine/book justice...and then came Retro Lovely Magazine. We immediately identified an experienced publisher at the helm and the rest is history. We bounced ideas, joint promotions, and craziness off each other since the launch, in a way shaping both RL and PL to fit like 2 puzzle pieces.

 

If we launched a magazine today, it would have to be on par with none other than Retro Lovely right? So how do we achieve this? With Retro Lovely in our corner of course!  

 

PinupLifestyle.com will be printing a bi-annual archive of Featured Photos, presented by Retro Lovely Magazine! Same quality, same printer, same paper weight, (same distribution avenues!?), but with YOUR Featured Photos. 

 

The main page slideshow only shows 100 photos in rotation, the rest fall into the digital archives. What we want is to make sure that after the world ends, a print archive is floating around somewhere in a space capsule. We can't include every single image, but what we can do is present the option to images that best represent the soul of our community from that period.

Quick question...how do you know if your photo has been featured?

If your photo is featured you'll receive and email letting you know. It will also appear on your page as a notification. It will then always be in our featured photos section and show in the slide show on the main page.
