"We Are The New Vintage"
So we have quite a few threads about pin curls, wet sets, rollers, etc. But what about what happens after your set? What are your tips and tricks for sleeping? How do you wear it the day after, how about three days after? What are your favorite touch up tricks? Do you use your fingers or a curling iron to bring the shape back?
Everyone has a different style, and what works for one person might not work for another. So let's share what we know! The ladies in the 50's could make their sets last for a week.... let's see if we can too.

Thanks for the tips, I can't keep my pin curls in for even a day, however I've just started doing wet set pin curls (so I'm extremely new to this). As my hair seems to hate heat.
Sleeping in a hairnet helps, just recurl the curls loosely so that they don't lay flat and put a hairnet over and secure it. I can make mine last 3 days maybe, the last day I might do a nice up-do with a sort of finger wave in the front. I use setting lotion and Syoss hairspray to keep in place.
I suppose I just need practice. I'm in the same boat where my set won't even last the day! I'll have to maybe rethink my technique, or give my hair some time to adjust to the curl. It's strange really, my hair is naturally wavy/curly, but to define them is an absolute pain!
