Hi dolls

I am after a new black liquid eye-liner and I thought you might be able to recommend what your favourite eye-liner is for doing the cat eye look?

Thank you : )

I've tried quite a few liners in my life and my favorite is a waterproof liquid liner by Netherlands-based company called Make-up Studio. I like it because it's easy and fast to apply, doesn't cause any tugging on the eyelid and as my skin grows older fine lines and thin skin becomes an issue. What is very important, it stays on in high temperatures [like 100F and a bit over] and lasts all day without flaking or fading. My only complaint - I haven't been able to get it in the USA. The applicator is a fairly fine brush - never had problems with it. Felt tips are not for me.

As for gel liners - I'm not sold on them. Tried Smashbox - tragedy. Now I have a liner by Elizabeth Arden and I'll finish the jar but only because I've got to mind the budget. I absolutely DON'T recommend it. Greasy, doesn't come on smooth and will smudge, smear and print itself on everything it touches unless it's sealed with finishing powder.

You won't regret spending a little extra on Estee Lauder waterproof liners. But if you can get it - buy Make-up Studio.

is one of my favorites. You can cry, sleep and swim and doesnt budge!

Hello darling.
Well, for my daily make-up I use this Almay eyeliner pen. I love that is liquid, but is more like a marker making it easier to apply. I post you this picture of it, so you can see how easy is to make thin lines with it. The shape of the tip makes it great when it comes to applying it on the eye. You can do a cat eye line in just one application. I always seal the eyeliner  with black eyeshadow so it stays intact. Pencil eyeliners are to greasy and after a few hours of wearing, it tends to get runny and it looks horrible.

For gel liners: YSL is amazing color wise/waterproof but pricey. Budget friendly would be either Sephora brand waterproof (super cheap & lastsssss) or Makeup Forever aqua liner.

Liquid: Stila limitless pen liner. Kat Von D limitless pen liner.

Pencil: Urban Decay 24/7 in Zero... waterproof after 30 seconds. if you're using it in the waterline, you have to literally hold your eye open for those 30 seconds.

I 100% agree with this list! All these are amazing.
