Hi dolls

I am after a new black liquid eye-liner and I thought you might be able to recommend what your favourite eye-liner is for doing the cat eye look?

Thank you : )

I love Makeup Forever cake liner! Been using it for years.

I really like the felt-tip eyeliner Line Exact by Cover Girl, but I am sure there are other brands that make this kind of tip. It's like drawing a line with a marker so you get smooth, solid edges. No sharpening needed, and you can use the tip for fine lines or the sides of the tip for broad lines.

Sabrina :)

Its all a matter of preference when it comes to liners, what works for some doesn't always work for others but as a make up artist I highly recommend MAC Fluidline Blitz & Glitz or Black Track. It is a Gel Liner that provides the precision of a liquid with "fool proof" all day wear. It is $15.00 and Applied with a seperate brush either liner brush # 209 (extra fine) , liner brush #210 or liner brush #211 ( all are $18.00 each ) depending on the level of fine line you are trying to achieve. It Photographs the BEST & They have lots of colors too. If you are more of a Pencil type eye liner person you can Use Black Panther by Medussa's Makeup works great and is $6.00, provides all day wear with the seal ($8.00) when applied. hope it helps .

I am a HUGE fan of Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner. The fine tip brush applicator has structure and doesn't fly all over the place. Great, long lasting wear and it doesn't bother my eyes. I highly recommend that everyone try it out... sold at Sephora. <3

I love "Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner"

Thank you to all you lovely ladies who gave  me advice!! xxx

Hi Shelley - last night I found a girl on YouTube who does great tutorials and she was doing a pinup one - Chloe Morello is her name. She uses a lot of MAC products and I THINK her eyeliner was the FluidLine pot - but she also uses normal art brushes for her eyes, not make up brushes.

Her tutorials are great!

xx

I love using Maybelline Unstoppable black noir, Walgreen Brand colors purple and silver those are the eyeliners I use the most.

If you've never tried any of the theatrical lines like Ben Nye or Kryolan, give them a go! I love using even a Blk kohl like powder for the lining. (And I do use mostly my actual art brushes because I find that I have better control. But I've also used the pointy end of the dual ended makeup QTips, as well. Then take some Kryolan cake eyeliner sealer, very, very little (can use the other almost flat circular end of the Qtip top lay over top) and you're good to go.
Some will mix the sealer with the cake liner beforehand, but I find it's easier to determine how much drama you want before sealing it. And it's so easy to clean up before locking your look in. (Just take another Qtip, dab it into some baby oil and straighten your line out. Or any extra darkness that falls beneath. Though if you dust a very light powder below your eyes, it catches the excess while you're working).
* Only thing to keep in mind; make sure you do get the excess baby oil off your still in progress working surface.
And if it's your first time doing a dramatic eye: try to pack a tiny little extra lipgloss pot size of Vaseline and some extra pointy Qtips in a little craft bag for night touch ups.
* If you don't know where to access theatrical makeup, try to find them. Incredible pigment! Cheaper than regular cosmetics, and a lot of the items, you'd be surprised & happy to find!
But my other go to if I don't use this combo; is my staple... MAC Fluidline (in the pot). Love it, stays on and goes on smooth. And for the price point; cant beat keeping a few around.
I love MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack with a hard angle brush. Another favorite of mine is Lancôme Artliner!! It has a great felt tip. I hope this helps! ;-)

Dior Style Liner is above and beyond the best. Nothing works better, at least for me.

This one is actually very good, but it bothered my eyes. :( I do have very sensitive ones though; if you don't, by all means, give this a try. It's worth it. It stays on like a mother. Lol
