I'm a HUUGE fan of those retro swimsuits.

They make me feel incredibly sexy and confident when i wear them.

What brand do you own/prefer/recommend ?

I love Esther Williams, Jantzen and Betty B Dangerous.

I think retro swimsuits are classy and tres sexy! Not like the modern string bikini.

I love pinupgirl clothing's Marilyn suit but want to check out vintage suits by mary since they've got boning. My figure needs all the help it can get!

i love them...I have a 2yr old and i haven't been able to get rid of the awful belly from being pregnant.  Wearing a retro swimsuit is the only way I can wear a two piece and feel comfortable about my body...it's the only way for me

I like the retro, that I have seen. My only problem is girls with too many too's. Your's are small so the retros look sexie on you. I would like to take a closer loor at the too's.

What Katie Did , Pinup Girl Clothing are both great. I love the low leg halterneck 1950s style suits and also the low backed swimdresses from the 30s. I found a pattern a while ago  for a great swimsuit on Burdastyle  that is easy and can be modified into a two piece if you wish....'Alison' swimsuit pattern

i actually refuse to wear anything else but this type of swimsuit, my friends think im crazy, they say 'you've got such a great body stop wearing one pieces and start wearing tiny string bikinis' uhhh...no thanks, i have one like your first picture in black and white and i love it.

I love that it's getting easier to find the retro swimsuit in plushy ( plus size ) sizes now, I'm going to the beach for the first time in my entire life and I've been looking online for the perfect retro bathing suit for the trip! :D
