"We Are The New Vintage"
Hey all! I got leopard print tattooed on my foot about three weeks ago and I've already decided that I want to add more spots. However, if I'm going to go under the needle again, I'm seriously gonna need some seriously extra-strength numbing cream! Anyone who's ever had a foot tattoo knows what I'm talking about! Does anybody have any recommendations on what to use? I found some stuff on amazon.com, like Tattoo Soothe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Plum

The only thing truly suitable and safe stuff to use is Bactine. It can be bought at any convenient store and I've used it on my clients many times. Numbs it completely, only problem is you have to stop and spray more when it wears off, which is about every 15-25 minutes. Part of getting a tattoo is the pain in my opinion, so if I were you, tuff it out and you'll be done in no time!! Good Luck sweetie!!!!
Do they still make Bactine? My grama used to put that on my mosquito bites, but I don't remember it numbing. Hmmm. And I already tuffed it out for a couple of hours, I'm good. I figure if I can at least dull the pain so that I'm not holding my breath and tensing up, I can deal with some discomfort.
Yes they still make it hun, any pharmacy or even supermarket usually has it and it does have a numbing agent I've had it used on me =]. Tattoo suppliers also sell it. Best to use in the last hour just to keep you in the chair.
Cool, thanks for the advice. I'll double-check with my artist. (When I get the noive to go back in)
