What should I do for my birthday?

Ok, My birthday is in late January. I would like to plan something that doesn't cost a whole lot of money, yet I would like to keep it open to PL friends in the area who would like to come out and join my celebration. So, check out my profile and drop me some suggestions. We have thought about a 1940-50 themed murder mystery party, a meet up at Dave & Busters, Dancing at Bar Sinister or maybe seeing a local band play somewhere. Any different ideas? Any votes for the ones we've put out there? Think of places anywhere from LA to San Diego...Thanks Guys!

Meeting for dinner somewhere is always good. Everyone pays for themselves and you get good conversation. Dancing is also a fun idea, but you don't get to talk as much.

OK this is yet another reason I wish I lived in Cali! I would so very much attend if I could! I always like to have fun parties with themes so I like the murder mystery idea. I always search party stuff on Martha Stewart's website first since she always has the best party planning ideas. When you settle on an idea you should re-post so we can all help in ideas for the party!
