What is it about Cats?

I've noticed that a lot of people like Kitties, Kittens, Kats etc.... I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE Domo Kuns. Cats don't appeal to me the way Domo Kuns do. Fast, deadly, brown, intelligent - I think everything about Domo Kuns is amazing!

So the question is: What attracts you to cats?

ewww...not a fan of cats. my babybutt puppies is where its at,folks! dogs are much funner to play with and mine are always so ecstatic to see me come home from work!!

oh i for got to mention that mu hubby wont let me have a cat cuz hes alergic. and he tells me that cats are a worthless pet to have, just as worthless at snakes. & that Dogs are mans best frined..he said "if you fall on the floor from chokin on sumthing, a dog will go get help for you..What is a Cat gnna do!?..sit there, watch you die, and lick themselves!!" --thats what my hubby said.
I used to have a cat when i was a kid. but i guess not anymore. i inherited a dog :-)

I have 3 cats. I'm not totally sure why. First it was cause each needed a home & I am a sucker for animals.
My cat Meiko is super snugly & lovey. Always purring (and I mean ALWAYS purring... sometimes it gets annoying). He has lots of personality from the way he meows to just the way he can look at you. And he is a foot fetishist. He is ALWAYS on your feet or playing with shoes. Anyone who ever comes into contact with him says that they love him (or try to steal him, for real!). I love him to pieces!
I got my cat ZoZo cause I thought he looked like the devil in kitten form. He was all white with two perfect black little stripes that looked like horns on the top of his head. So cute! Now he is a huge monster cat who thinks he is still a kitten and he is super sucky. Adorable!
And Lemmy is my cranky old lady. If I see her in a day it's so she can eat something. But for the most part she hates life and hides out all day. Not too fun but no one else will love her so I have too :-)
OK I sound like a crazy cat lady. I am looking to add an albino skinny pig and a Boston Terrier to my family too :-) I am just a crazy animal lover in general.

We've got two cats Ace and Murphy. We got them both at the same time as kittens, they've grown up together and they couldn't be different in personality. That's the thing with cats, it's the personality.

We call Ace the Cary Grant of cats. He's always groomed, always looks like he's heading out for a night of dancing. Murphy is always rumpled and looks like he just woke up. If a door is cracked open and they want inside Ace stretches out his paw and gracefully slides the door open, Murphy just runs up and throws himself against the door.

When Ace wants attention he'll slink up and reach out with a paw and tap you.

I have two cats; to protect their identities, they are known online officially as Sputnik and Comet, but more casually as Tubby Tabby and Happy Cat. Sputnik (who is constantly in orbit around me) has been with me since she was a tiny kitten, which means her weird little habits are even more confounding. I got Comet, a flame-point Siamese, from a used cat dealer, and while I don't know anything about his early history, he's been running like a dream.

Cats and dogs...great for different reasons. Cats are much more snuggly than most dogs. They have fierce independent attitudes and yet they know when you really need them. They are fun to watch and play with in a totally different way than dogs.

Dogs are great also because they are great protectors, a riot with their toys, you can take them with you places and they don't freak out, they're loyal even if you're an idiot, and also always know when you need a bit of puppylove.

I currently have a 3 footed hamster named ford prefect (more often called ickle hamster face) and a ruby eyed white american fuzzy lop (that's a bunny) named hiroaki protagonist (more often called fluffy head).
