You must find a Photographer and get a portfolio done, you can decide the style you want and then go for it,you might find you need about 100 photographs in your port of many different styles.

hope this is of help

Tori--

You are quite lovely and I am guessing you will get many offers to pose soon.  As you can imagine, this question is asked often enough and I am sure that some of those older posts will be put here for you to take a look at.  You can, however, do a few things to jump start your port:

Hire a good photographer.  For a couple hundred or less, you can get hair and make up, maybe wardrobe and a few great pictures-- or some combination of the first two as well as pictures.  You can either post a casting call here or look around for photographers in your area to do this.

You can get a profile on Model Mayhem and haunt the forums or browse to see if there might be a photographer in your area who will do the pictures for trade (your beauty, their experience, talent and equipment).   Be careful here, ask around before you do this and check the references of the photographer.

Go to car shows or other pin-up retro "photo op" events where there will be people with cameras looking for dressed up dames.

Host a pin-up party amateur photo shoot.  You, some friends, clothes, camera equipment... you might end up with something you like, and it is a great way to practice posing.  Make sure to have an after-party where you view the pics and learn from them.

Wishing you lots of fun and beautiful pictures!

Check out my website, www.roxy-tart.com. The Pin Up 101 section is all about getting started in this scene. It touches on the different genres, portfolios, what to take to a shoot, and many other things.

Also, this question has been asked numerous times here, so take a moment to look through the Modeling forum and you'll find tons of great information.

Good luck.

go to modelmayhem.com and register. There should be plenty of photographers willing to do TF work which means Trade For usually prints of a CD, the photographer gets experience and you get pictures to build a portfolio. Just make sure to take an escort with you and check out the photographer to make sure everything is on the up and up!

This was really good advice! :)
